Research Interests

Please click here to see a current list of my publications.

My current research focuses on tissue engineering and the application of robotic technologies and advanced manufacturing processes to create technology-based solutions to challenging problems in health care delivery.

Current projects include:

Biological patterning of hormones using inkjet printing to guide stem cell fates; implantable biodegradable electronics; and computer vision-based cell tracking. I also apply inkjet printing to digital fabrication of organic electronics such as gas chemical sensors.

To effectively carry out this research, I work with multidisciplinary teams from The School of Computer Science (Robotics), The College of Engineering, and The Mellon College of Sciences.
